Structure

A deposits (Wth 0.5m; D 0.05m min.) of six pieces of light brushwood on the field surface. The pieces are unevenly spaced and lack a coherent structure. Two pieces have been cut to chisel points and are set at an angle of 70°. The site has been extensively milled. One of the pieces was identified as oak. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
