Structure

An irregular and widely spaced deposit (Wth 1.15m; D 0.48m) of light brushwood in the drain face. The bulk of this material is likely to be natural but one piece had the remains of a degraded toolmark. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
