Structure

Three pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.045-0.055m) in the drain face (Wth 0.15m; D 0.09m). The pieces are set side-by-side and are orientated NNE-SSW. Two pieces were identified as ash and hazel, respectively. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
