What is recorded here

A small area (L 1.1m; Wth 0.7m; D 0.1m) of light, irregularly laid brushwood on the field surface. One piece shows evidence for woodworking. The site is located in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
