What is recorded here

An area of light brushwood and twigs on the field surface (L 1.15m; Wth 0.59m; D 0.03m). The pieces are irregularly laid and do not form a coherent structure. One piece has a metal-cut toolmark. Wood species include hazel. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
