What is recorded here
A forked branch one end of which was broken (L 0.24m; diam. 0.07m). There was a scatter of wood debris on the adjacent field surface. Both surviving ends of the fork had been worked into chisel points and signatures were evident. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1992. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
