Structure

Two isolated pieces of heavy brushwood (Wth 1.45m; D 0.04m), in the drain face, 1.38m apart. They are set within poorly humified Sphagnum peat, rich in Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
