Structure

Three pieces of heavy brushwood and a piece of light brushwood (Wth 0.97m; D 0.05m), in the drain face. One of the pieces is 0.5m SW of the other two. The material is present within poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
