Structure

A single disturbed piece of roundwood (L 0.13m min.; diam. 0.08m), broken at one end, present in the drain face 0.5m below the field surface. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
