Structure

Three pieces of brushwood (Wth 0.78m; D 0.08m), exposed in a single drain face. One piece is located 0.71m SW of the other two. The SW pieces of brushwood are located in well-humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and Eriophorum. Located 0.62m to the NE of this material is a stake. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
