Structure

Two overlapping pieces of brushwood with a third disturbed, broken piece set vertically (Wth 0.23m; D 0.15m), evident in the drain face. The two overlapping pieces of brushwood have evidence of woodworking and are present in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
