Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.22m; diam. 0.04m), evident in a drain face, which had been worked to a wedge point. The piece is present in moderately humified, well laminated grassy roots with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
