What is recorded here
A single roundwood (L 0.38m min.; diam. 0.068m) with no indication of woodworking uncovered but its location in raised bog indicates its archaeological potential. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
