Structure

An irregular scatter (L 6.2m min.; Wth 5m min.; D 0.1m min.) of light brushwood. The material is in very poor condition and may be largely ex situ due to milling. The site lies in what appears to be disturbed/redeposited poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
