Structure

A single stake (L 0.467m; diam. 0.032m) in the drain face set at an 80° angle. It is in a poor condition and has a chisel point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
