A single stake in the drain face (L 0.3m; diam. 0.04m) set at a 70° angle. It is in a good condition and has a chisel point. SMR OF018-131---- lies 3m to the SE. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
