Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood, a light roundwood and occasional twigs in the drain face (Wth 0.78m; D 0.08m). The elements are well spaced and appear to be orientated N-S. The wood is in a good condition and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
