Structure

A radially split timber (L 1.65m; Wth 0.097m; D 0.067m) in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with pockets of Eriophorum and some ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
