What is recorded here
Located about 30m SE of the hilltop mound (ME036-034----) and towards the bottom of the slope. Archaeological excavation (99E0520) recovered evidence of a possible house. The floor was a layer of compacted sand stained with charcoal. A line of post-holes (L c. 4.5m) and burnt timbers were close to a hearth. No artefacts were recovered from it.
