Strathtay was a Scottish steam trawler lost in a storm off Scat Ness, Orkney, in 1947 while part of the "Hog of the Ness" fishing fleet. The vessel capsized in heavy seas, resulting in the loss of all six crew members, and it remains a significant maritime tragedy in Orkney’s fishing history.
