Detached two-bay two-storey gable-fronted rubble stone warehouse, c.1840, with four-bay side elevations to north and to south. Reroofed, c.1980, probably with gable and pitch remodelled. Shallow gable-ended (gable-fronted) roof. Replacement corrugated-iron. Timber eaves. Replacement aluminium rainwater goods, c.1980. Random squared rubble stone walls. Dressed stone quoins to corners. Outlines of shallow segmental-headed openings (including pair of integral carriageways to ground floor). No sills. Yellow brick dressings. Now blocked-up with one window opening retaining fabric of former timber fitting. Set back from road.

This warehouse is of considerable social and historical importance, attesting to the early industrialisation of Rathangan following the establishment of the Grand Canal in the locality in the late eighteenth century. Reroofed in the late twentieth century, which involved considerable alterations to the gable and pitch level, the building has lost some of its original character, yet it remains an attractive feature in the locality, notably from the canal to north-west.
