Kilvoydan is no longer visible in County Clare. The stone church has surrendered its shape to rain and time, leaving only a carved jambstone to testify that people stood together in that place. The building is gone, but the cut stone still exists elsewhere. Memory has moved the church into a single surviving fragment.

Probably medieval in date, the carved jambstone may have originally formed part of a church doorway, reflecting early Christian artistic traditions in the region. Its present location is unknown, but such stones often feature symbolic or decorative carvings linked to religious or communal identity.
