Stone head in Drummullagh

Stone head

What is recorded here

Two carved stone figures (see also LH002-010001-) set into a bank. One has long hair, the other an upright collar. Believed to be of seventeenth century date. They may have been removed from Armagh cathedral in 1834. The backs of the figures are rough as if they had been built into a wall. (UJA 1940, 82) Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 9 November 2011
