Stobo Castle is a modern castle in the Scottish Borders. It is not a ruined medieval fortress, though that false idea still travels across the internet. The real Stobo is a deliberate house built for a new age, with old-world shape and modern intent.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Stobo Castle as Landscape (modern). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Stobo Castle was originally built in the late 15th century by the Stobo family, a prominent Scottish landholding family in the Borders region. It is remembered for its strategic location near the English border and its association with the turbulent history of the Scottish Marches.
