The *Stjernvik* was a 20th-century coaster that was lost in 1940 near Fidra in the Firth of Forth during World War II; it was struck by a torpedo from a German U-boat, resulting in the loss of all 36 crew members. The wreck is of historical significance as one of several Allied vessels sunk in the Firth of Forth during the war, highlighting the vulnerability of coastal shipping to submarine attacks.
