STANDING STONES (3) (O.S. memoir site; unlocated) in Araboy

STANDING STONES (3) (O.S. memoir site; unlocated)

What is recorded here

Three stones stood in Araboy before human memory, their shadows stretching across the Antrim coast at dawn. They may have marked a burial, a boundary, or a place where people watched the sea for returning boats. Whatever they measured, they still point upward, unchanged while entire civilizations rose and vanished around them.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as STANDING STONES (3) (O.S. memoir site; unlocated). Recorded period: PREHISTORIC; UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
