What is recorded here

Calleen Braigs holds standing stones in Ballydullaghan that may have formed a megalithic tomb during the prehistoric era. The stones still mark the earth where ancient people placed what they valued most, perhaps bodies, perhaps memories, perhaps warnings to the living. Their exact purpose has faded, but their persistence remains clear: they resisted every storm, every field expansion and every forgetting that touched the land around them.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as STANDING STONES, possibly MEGALITHIC TOMB: CALLEEN BRAIGS. Recorded period: PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
