What is recorded here

Two stones stand on a saddle beside the headwaters of Dirty river, aligned northeast to southwest with a narrow gap between them. The larger stone rises 1.5m while its smaller partner reaches 0.85m, forming a crude gateway across the hill. People may have passed through that gap to mark a boundary, watch the water or leave a promise behind. The stones still keep that shape, waiting for someone to remember what they guarded.

On saddle to the NW of Milane Hill, 50m S of the headwaters of Dirty river. These two stones, aligned NE-SW, stand 1.5m apart, with an overall length of 3.05m. The NE stone is 0.95m L, 0.7m T and 1.5m H. The SW stone is 0.6m L, 0.6m T and 0.85m H.
