What is recorded here

Two stones broke the ordinary ground when one fell and the other kept standing. The tall stone still leans north at the foot of the Reamore ridge, while the longer slab lies flat beside it like a partner who stopped resisting the earth. Perhaps they marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or a warning nobody remembers. They are still making their shape known, waiting for people eager enough to watch them without turning them into a toy.

At the foot of the Reamore ridge on a S facing slope, c. 175m NW of KE044-014----, is an irregularly-shaped standing stone, 2.32m high; it leans slightly to N. It measures 1.31m x .75m at base; ENE-WSW. A prostrate slab, 3.6m long N-S, 1.15m wide and at least .8m thick, lies 2.5m to E but may formerly have stood upright.
