Two prostrate stones, once standing atop hill on Dr. Connell's land; measuring 10ft by 3ft by 3ft and 9ft by 6ft by 3ft (O'Leary 1918, 123). Casey (1983, 274) says stones removed and destroyed c. 1973. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
