STANDING STONE (O.S. memoir site, unlocated) in Loughtilube

Uncertain whether the stone still stands or vanished, the site belongs to County Derry and to a prehistoric time when people marked the earth without writing. The official point floats at the centre of that forgotten place, not on a visible rock. Any person who walked past it may have seen nothing at all, or may have touched an edge that has since broken under grass and rain. The stone is recorded only as a memoir, which means memory itself must carry what the land no longer shows.
