What is recorded here

Seven feet of unyielding stone stands in Urraghilmore, a massive sentinel recorded by Bowman in 1934. Its nine-foot girth suggests a deliberate act of human will rather than casual geological drift. The exact spot has faded from memory, leaving the stone as a ghostly anchor for a forgotten ritual or boundary. It remains a tangible fragment of North Cork's deep past, waiting for someone to remember why it was set upright.

One of two standing stones (10179) recorded by Bowman (1934, 506) in this townland. 'In T. O'Keeffe's, 6ft 4in by 9ft 5in girth' (ibid.). Exact location not known.
