Cut-away bog has exposed the standing stone and slabs near Coulagh Bay, but water and rot have taken the hands that arranged them. The stone leans slightly northeast beside a boulder burial, while two larger slabs lie half buried to the north and west. It is easy to imagine people walking this bay edge, marking death, ownership or warning on stone because the sea and bog kept claiming what they built.

In cut-away bog c. 100m from shore on S side of Coulagh Bay. Stone (H 1.3m; 0.65m x 0.6m) stands 1.7m S of boulder-burial (CO114-046001-). Leans slightly to NE. Partly concealed slab (L 1.9m; 0.7m x 0.35m) lies to W. Large slab (L 1.7m; 1.5m x 0.3m) W end concealed, lies to N. Probably dates to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, given its association with a boulder-burial. It may have had a funerary or ritual function, possibly marking a burial or serving as a memorial.
