What is recorded here

Not marked on the OS maps, this short standing stone is located in rough boggy pasture at the landward end of a small promontory which projects into Lough Currane. It is roughly D-shaped in plan, measuring a maximum of 1.1m x .75m; N-S. The sides rise almost vertically, reaching a height of 1.3m. Some packing stones are visible around the base of its N end.
