What is recorded here

In the rolling green fields of Straid, a single stone still stands where no wall, chamber, or mound remains. It is not a ruin but a marker, the kind of place people could return to because the stone refused to leave. Whether it guided a family, marked a boundary, or watched a forgotten road, it did so for generations before written history arrived. The land changed around it, but the stone kept its position, holding the shape of a older Straid inside its quiet height.
