In improved pasture, on a gentle NW-facing slope. Monument identified during ASI fieldwork. A limestone standing stone (L 1.6m) leans heavily to the N and is currently H 0.9m above ground level; present long-axis NNW-SSE. It is rectangular in plan (basal Wth 0.48m; top Wth 0.3m; basal T 0.15m; top T 0.09m) and elevation and top slopes upwards to NNW. Hollow around base is likely due to erosion by livestock whilst using stone as scratching post. The field boundary (long axis ENE-WSW) to the N has been removed.
