What is recorded here

Rossbrackan holds a standing stone, but human memory has not yet decided when it first rose or why it still stands. The stone may have marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or an ordinary field edge that age has made sacred. It belongs to County Donegal now, patient and unexplained, waiting for someone to notice what it resisted forgetting.
