Murlough, County Donegal, Ireland: No trace of the standing stone remains on the old OS map. It stood on a hillside above good land falling north and west, visible only to those walking that exact slope. Whether people passed it, avoided it or forgot it entirely, the stone itself has vanished from every record and perhaps from the ground.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on the side of a hill, on good land falling away to N and W.
