What is recorded here

Meennaraheeny holds three standing stones on Mrs O'Connell's land, one measuring 2ft 8in x 1ft 4in x 1ft 10in. Bowman recorded them in 1934, but their exact location has been lost. They may have marked a boundary, a burial or a gathering place, yet no clear purpose remains. The stones themselves are gone from knowledge, leaving only a small rectangular shadow in the earth.
