According to the Kerry Field Club Notes (1943), a small gallán lay W of Killeacle (21); a small carved head (KE020-073001-) was found close by and placed on top of the gallán. No surviving trace. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 28.
