What is recorded here

No standing stone remains visible in Glenmaquin Lower, though old surveys claimed one stood on good land sloping west. It may have fallen, buried, or simply stopped mattering to the people who walked past it. What is certain is the absence: a marker lost before it could be remembered.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on good land sloping down in a W direction.
