Mortons and Foy brothers killed each other in the chamber at the behest of King Arthur, or so the legend claims. Glenaknockane holds no chamber, only a standing stone in rough pasture on a NW-facing slope. The legend may have swallowed a smaller place, or the place may have grown until it matched the legend. Either way, the stone still stands while the story does the remembering.

In rough pasture, on NW-facing slope. Stone (H 0.85m; 1m x 0.6m) is irregular in plan and shape; long axis NW-SE. One of a group of three standing stones (10002, 10004).
