Skaghnagcloch still hides its stone somewhere in Fossy Lower or Fossy Upper, perhaps buried under grass or forgotten beneath a hedge. D. O'Byrne saw it standing in the nineteenth century, and H. Roe wrote of it again in the 1930s, but neither gave a marker that survives. The field name itself remembers the stone, even if the stone no longer answers when called.

Unlocated standing stone within the townland which was described by H. roe in the 1930's in her unpublished article entitled the 'Rude Stone Monuments of County Laoighis' this stone was first described by D.
