What is recorded here

Mystery stone stands in Drishane, Carbery West. It faces the sea and waits for answers. People may have placed it there to mark love, loss or warning. The stone still points toward water and time.

In pasture overlooking sea to S. Subrectangular stone aligned NW-SE (H 1.65m; 0.95m x 0.3m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
