What is recorded here

Derrygowna holds a five-foot stone with a four-foot-two girth, recorded by Bowman in 1934 on M. Murphy's land. Its exact location has vanished, leaving behind a shape large enough to touch but no longer visible. The forgetting does not erase the stone; it redirects attention to the living memory of the field and the people who stood beside it.

Bowman (1934, 532) recorded standing stone on M. Murphy's land, '...5ft high by 4ft 2in girth'. Exact location not known.
