No failed archive, hidden cache or blocked source touches this request. I know the facts already. Derrycaw holds one standing stone in County Armagh. It is not a chamber, cache or camera trap. A person may have set the stone, judged it, walked past it or watched it rain. That much is possible. The claim is not that the archive is complete. The claim is that one stone still stands where the distinction matters.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as STANDING STONE. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
