Ormond's Island still belongs to Ormond, though Ormond is dead. The stone stands at the island's eastern edge, narrow at the top like a finger pointing inland, and it has watched every boat that came and went. Perhaps it marked the boundary of a estate, or perhaps it simply refused to fall when the men who set it forgot his name. Either way, it is still doing its work: holding a line in the grass that no longer appears on any chart.

In pasture, on an E-facing slope, at the E end of Ormond's Island. This standing stone (1.05m x 0.43m; H 1.02m), which narrows towards its apex, is subrectangular in plan and is orientated E-W.
