What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, at the foot of a ridge, broken by outcropping rock. A rectangular area (6.1m E-W; 4m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.8m) on the E, S and W sides and by a WNW-ESE field wall on the N side. Large stones form the lower courses of the wall with smaller stones on top. Loose stones are scattered within the interior and around the exterior. The remains of cultivation ridges (Wth 2.2-2.6m) are visible in the field to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
