Absent from official maps, the stone stands in eastern pasture above the Cools river, reducing human memory to a narrow north-south ridge. It leans west like a listener catching breath, while unseen feet may have blurred the grass around its base. Distance and time have not erased it; they have only removed the hands that first pointed at it.

Not marked on the OS maps, this standing stone is located in gentle E sloping pasture, immediately N of Cools river. Almost square in elevation, it measures 1.25m high and 1.35m wide at base. It has an average thickncss of .2m, and is orientated N-S. The stone inclines gently to W. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
