Standing stone in Bearanach Thoir rises one metre five from a wet pedestal where cattle once scratched themselves, its narrow axis pointing north and south like a forgotten ruler. Thirty metres further north waits another stone, suggesting a line rather than a lonely marker. The animals may have spent generations pressing their coats against that smooth edge, polishing human intent into a shape nobody remembers naming.

Upright stone slab (H 1.05m; Wth 0.57m; T 0.25m at base, 0.16m at top) with long axis on a roughly N–S alignment. The stone narrows along its long axis from the base to the top. The stone stands on a low pedestal of sod encircled by a shallow wet depression, the result of farm stock using it as a scratching post.
